Water Station Volunteer (Sat. May 4) High Priority

Details

-Fill paper cups with water
-Hand runners cups with water as they approach aid station from both sides of Greenway
-CHEER runners and smile!
-Pick up cups thrown on ground and place in trash can
-Break down station after the Bike Sweep passes by with final runner

Location

PARKING: 3300 Old Battleground Avenue
Volunteer will park in the lot located at 3300 Old Battleground, which is at the junction of Westridge Rd/Battleground/Old Battleground. Use the pedestrian crosswalk to safely cross Old Battleground to the Aid Station.

Hospitality (Sat. May 4)

Darth Vader Actor (Sat. May 4) Low Priority

Details

Do you LOVE Star Wars (or at least love dressing up in character?) We are looking for a Darth Vader actor for race morning! Actor must be approximately 6' - 6'3" with an outgoing personality to interact with race participants, help countdown to the start, and cheer runners across the finish line. We will provide the costume and full helmet.

Costume Contest Judging (Sat. May 4) Medium Priority

Bike Lead (Sat. May 4) High Priority

>Responsible for staying with lead runner on 10K/5K course (1 bike escort for each race is needed.)
>**Must be able to maintain a 5-minute mile or 12 mph**
>Once lead runner has completed race, continue course support during event.
>For your safety, please wear helmet and visible clothing.

We need able-bodied adults to help set up the start/finish area of the race. This includes setting up fencing, tables, tents, etc. FOR THIS JOB: Jimmy Jackson and/or Nathan Morrison will be your contact.
